La vie nous force parfois à faire des détours.

I really can't get this song out of my head. I think France has infected my mind.

Anyway, other than that, I've really been working hard on actually trying to get my head wrapped around my studies. We have only a week or so to study, counting Easter weekend & such, before we actually have finals. On April 22nd, I'll be finished for the year, at ( Read more... )

Congratulations, Lara, you are thisclose to your break! Good luck with your last week or so of studying and your finals.. I'll be keeping an eye out for your next update, and I hope to hear that you're doing fine!

I love how interested you are in French music.. though, as you said, she is French-Canadian, right? I really love these lines of the song, besides the last stanza:

Torturés par l’ennui, on se crée des histoires
À tellement bien mentir, on finit par se croire
Comment s’en sortir sans tromper tout le monde
Au moment de partir, l’emporter dans sa tombe?

By the way, I am so, so, so sorry for getting you sick.. I'm not really doing a good job at being a friend, am I? Thank you once again for helping me get better, though - if you need some bisque in exchange for your amazing borscht, give me a call.

Feel better! ♥

I'm sorry I didn't reply sooner! I actually got myself together and get some studying, so I've avoided going online for a little bit. ♥ I'm working on an e-mail for you right now though, I swear. And I am doing just fine! Only about six more days to go!!

She is French-Canadian, yes! She was on a reality show over there, similar to the idol programs, and I'm not actually sure if she won, but she is quite good, no? And her lyrics are all so beautiful, it's really helping me with my study. My verbal French isn't bad, but my written.. I'm working on it!

Don't worry about getting me sick! It just gave me more incentive to curl up in bed with a text book.. you probably helped me ace my first exam! But even if I'm feeling better, you're more than welcome to come and visit with some of that bisque?

Oh, I was also going to suggest, well.. I mean if you wanted to you should come and visit when I finish school. Start the summer off, right? It's warmed up a tad here again, back to the defrosting stage, you'd love it. And it'll be my treat, ( ... )

I'm replying even later to you, so don't you worry! ♥ As I said, keep on studying.. If I were in your place, I'd be doing the same thing.. except I'd be a lot little more distracted. Ha ha!

I'll come by one of these days with some of it.. and more sandwiches and the French pastries that you like so much! And, well, yes, I would love to visit you! Thank you so, so much for offering. ♥♥ Where do you want to go? I can't wait already!

We just keep getting later and later, don't we? This is why I can't wait for this to be over. Just two more days!

More sandwiches and pastries sound divine, by the way, and I can't wait~ not to mention the bisque. I've just been drinking coffee, and eating tea biscuits, as I believe I mentioned to Tatum in another entry.. so yeah, real food sounds great!

I'm glad you want to come and visit. (: You must realize, it's my honor to offer! But where should we go? Hmm, that's a good question. There are a lot of places to visit, just in Moscow alone.. do you have anything in Russia you've always wanted to see, maybe? If not, we could just have a girl's night on the city~
