[Daytime. Just some random day, some random time, but very much daytime. Which is why Allen is curled up on his and Lavi's bed in their room, the bed a pile of pillows and blankets and one tired vampire who never really sleeps as much as he should when he should.
The room is very much light-proof. The windows covered with boards and curtains, enough so that Allen can sleep peacefully even if he had no covers at all. But it's still winter, still too cold, and he's curled in a nest of them and curled around a pillow.
He's the only one in the room; Lavi's gone off to visit Yupunzel most likely, or a friend, or something, but it isn't unusual for Allen to be the only one there during this time of day.
It doesn't mean he's sleeping, though. He isn't, not really. Just relaxing. The room gets too cold during the day without Lavi around to keep it warm, he thinks.]
