Sort of half productive day today?
I went to town to see where had vacancies and if I could give in CVs. Turns out, not many places are hiring until Christmas. Still, I managed to get a couple of application forms, and an invitation to a couple more if I go back closer to when they're looking to hire people.
Got to fill in one for The Works (bookshop) for tomorrow - not sure if I'll manage it, but I'll look over it and try. The hours for that job aren't so great - Monday or Wednesday, 2 or 5 'til 11, and one day at the weekend too. Still, anything's better than nothing. I have to get a cover letter for Blackwell's before I can give a CV to them, but apparently they're looking for a lot of part time staff at the moment because a lot of people have recently quit. It helps to have inside information~ XD
Gamestation gave me an application form to fill in for their Christmas jobs, and I gave a CV to GAME for Christmas jobs too. Got told to come back in October in Primark.
Bought some pyjamas while I was in Primark - it's not my fault! They're awesome and they were on sale, so only £2 instead of £5. They're all "Save the World" with lots of planets and words like "care" and "recycle" underneath them~ They're the best. I love Primark pyjamas~ = w=
Slightly less worried financially now I have some money in my bank account - I was really panicking when I couldn't withdraw any money yesterday, but the cheque apparently cleared today so I have some money. And I've sort out this month's rent with my aunty, so I can pay her back once I get my loan etc.
It's gotten pretty cloudy since I got back from town and it looks like it might rain... maybe I got back just in time...
