Holy God. So we're back from our little "this will be easy" trip to Montreal to drop Buttercup at the airport.
Easy it was so not.

•And that northern Vermont just got some kind of unexpected blizzard? (Really. I *did* check
weather.com before I left.)
•If you are a single parent crossing a border with your child, you should never, EVER leave home without your custody orders?
Thank God I knew that last one. Back in 1978, my mother and I were stranded in the Houston airport, en route to Mexico, for three days because she forgot hers. It's probably one of the few instances where I did that classic thing parents want us to do: learn from their mistakes.
I really hope I do get around to getting the story up as a
Bliss entry, because, damn, that was worth a story.
