-Recording. There is a soft scuffling, the lightest hints of someone behind the terminal. A breathy noise, maybe a laugh or exhale, and footsteps coming closer-

So.. so - could it?

The Inferno. Perhaps the world would prefer Milton?

Did you like the poem dear heart?

Nill likes any poem.

She has heard of Dante's Inferno. She does not know it, but has heard of it.

He can tell Nill more poems if he would like.

Nill, Nill, what a lovely name. Monosyllabic.

A poem? For you dear heart, if you wish.

As thou from year to year hath sung too late
For my relief; yet hadst no reason why,
Whether the Muse, or Love call thee his mate,
Both them I serve, and of their train am I.

Milton.

Only one syllable. Yes. Doesn't matter, really, because Nill cannot say it anyways.

... does he know Hamlet?

Hamlet is not a poem, but it is something Nill has actually read a part of. She found a copy of te play in the church she lived at!

Something rotten in the state of Denmark~

Doubt thou the stars are fire;
Doubt that the sun doth move;
Doubt truth to be a liar;

Nill will not say her name out loud?

Not will not. Cannot.

Nill cannot speak. Ever.

How sad. Have you lost your tongue Nill?

No. Nill has her tongue. But she can't even make a sound.
