So I thought long and hard about the question I wanted to ask this time, and I know it will probably confuse you, but it's been on my mind lately, so why not aske here?

So here's this week's question?
Why do you think that Sho is the 'designated rapper', and how do you react to 'Sakurap'?

what the hell are you trying to say? )

Wow first time posting here xD

Why was Sho the 'designated rapper'? Well, I think it was a good choice to designate Sho as the main rapper (not being biased...may be slightly) because he is a guy that clearly talks a lot (lol). Also, he seemed to have a great interest in rapping in the first place, so it's all good. I love it when he raps, especially on Cool and Soul performance on AAA07, he clearly enjoyed rapping. Then there was this one time on FNS, they were singing Ashita no Kioku and he looked like he was ready to rap anytime xD. Those and/or may be because Ohno chose to be the main vocals (i heard/read somewhere that they asked Ohno if he wanted to rap or do lead vocals since he's good at rapping as well), that's why they gave the rapping to Sho? Either way, I like the gap between rapper Sho and newscaster Sho. Sometimes it's still weird to think that this rapper is a newscaster and vice versa, but Sho showed us that he does well on both.

My thoughts about Sakurap... I wasn't very keen about rap before just like you were. However, when i first listened to an Arashi song that had rap in it, my taste has somehow changed.
It wasn't like the usual pointless monotonous rap. I like that i can hear the pop-ish rhythm of the song while Sho was rapping. Then when I watched a subbed PV of the song, I was really impressed that the raps were inspirational and have deeper meanings behind it. Unlike most American raps these days that repeats a lot of words for no reason.

I guess that's my answer...sorry if its confusing or whatnot.

An answer is an answer xD

You know, I think Sho was a great choice for being a rapper too. I mean, in a way, the rapping came before everything else that he did that he's known for: going to college, becoming a newscaster. Maybe I need to go look at him with Jidai hair xD

yeah that FNS made me laugh xD

i love how Sho's raps are so... Intelligent. In a way, that closes the gap between the crazy smart man we know and the rest of the work he does :O

hahaha Jidai hair

Lol i was laughing when he was like itching to rap xD

That is true, i like that bridge that connects two different gaps of his.
He just showed me that you can be anything you want if you work on it *nods*
