Progress: rl

So things are moving along nicely.

I applied to a company called 'Creation Activation' as a merchandiser yesterday. ::fingers crossed:: Hopefully I score a full time job. I have all the qualifications and everyone I work with says I have an OCD when it comes to setting up displays and advertising units. I never would have thought to apply for a job like that if it wasn't for Ruth. After a good hour of searching the job boards online, I finally found a way to get into the industry and it sounds like a really good fit for me. ::crosses toes, eyes, legs, arms::

I've also got my aunt scouting for real estate for me in Wollongong. Yes! I will finally be moving somewhere coastal again - how I have missed the sea, the wind and the storms. This whole country desert thing just doesn't work for me. LOL. It was different and having lived in these conditions will no doubt help me when I am writing my book, but as on right now, in the middle of summer, the beach is calling my name!

I can't wait to be closer to the family I actually like to be around. LOL. I've been so cut off from everyone and now I'll be living a stone through away from my aunt and cousin and of course my baby brother (who isn't such a baby anymore since he's 21, but he will always be a chubby cute little six year old in my head).

Today for afternoon tea, I made the yummiest (low fat) raspberry chocolate brownies. They are just cooling on the bench now, but they are so damn mouth watering I am certainly going to have to give 'em away to my neighbors so I don't eat the whole damn tray.

So far I have to say - I'm loving have the weekend off from work. :D
