Beyond walked into a fairly big kitchen . He hadn't seen to many people lately, but he didn't let that stop him from exploring kitchens and other rooms. He hadn't seen the Mello that he had met in a while now and was wondering what was going on ( Read more... )

Mello walks into the kitchen with his ever-present craving for chocolate. He takes a bar from one of the cupboards and turns to see B.

"Oh, hey there... Rue was it?"

B turned to look at Mello,he smiled a little.

"yes."

He looked at Mello for a moment.

"Where's that Matt that always seems to follow you?I haven't seen him in a couple days."

He took a marshmallow and plopped it in his mouth.

"He... dissappeared..."

Mello's look becomes bitter and he sighs, taking another bite of the chocolate bar.

Beyond looked at Mello with a somewhat concerned look in his eyes.

"You miss him?"

He smiled a little.

"Duh. He was my partner."

He smiled a little.

"I see."

He got up and went to the stove.

"Would you like anything besides chocolate.Maybe something more good for you?"

He laughed

"I could make something like,pizza or something."

he thought a moment.

"You know Mail's was a good kid, I can tell. and his numbers were pretty impressive for a Matt."

(ooc:numbers=as in time to live but when he talks about for a matt he means Matt's don't usually have a lot of time to live.)

"Whatever's fine."

He shrugs. Not like he eats much more than chocolate, but if Rue was offering...

"Kid? I wouldn't go that far."

He smiled as he got some dough out of the cuboard and started to pound it a little.

"ok."

He stopped for a second and looked at Mello.

"Did I say something wrong?" he asked "About Matt, or the chocolate, not being healthy statement?"

"No. It's just, Matt isn't exactly a kid, is he?"

a small smile.

"Well he is 20, but he acts some what like a kid...it's normal for us Wammy kids though."

He went back to makeing the pizza. He put it into the oven once it was in ready.

"Some examples is like you and me, we both wanted to be better then someone else,to beat someone at something."

He growls, standing up immediately on what he thought was an attack on his pride.

"Wanted?"

"don't get so excited over something I say."

He frowned

"It sorta makes me..."

he hesitated and changed the subject.

"That's not exactly what I meant. I haven't yet finished trying to beat L yet...and you still have a chance to beat Near."

"So 'wanted' isn't the case, then. And I've yet to loose, and do not plan on doing so."

He sits down, still visibly tense, but slighty more calm having gotten his point across.

B looked at Mello with a smile.

"You and I are so much alike..."

a laugh

"In some cases,Matt and Mello usually die still trying to bring your dream into a reality."

He looked at the time and then at the stove.He grabbed to clothes and put them in between his hand and the hot pizza pan. He then placed it on the table.

"I haven't had pizza for a while. But they have all kinds, I even heard the had chocolate pizza these days."
