Many many moons ago, there was a fantabulous little pre-mini fic by stars_like_dust called: Stupid Thing Last Night. Much later (but still a long time ago), it spawned a sequel: Stupid Thing Last Night: The Videotape edition.

I pleaded to be allowed to collaborate with the fantastic stars_like_dust to continue the story, and she magnanimously agreed

I really love this fic and had it bookmarked. I re-read it every now and then, and have done for a few years. The last time I read it was a few months ago, and your Part 2 was public then. It is locked now. Can you tell me if you have it posted publicly some where? I would really like to read it.

I've made it public again - sorry, I had a bit of a moment after someone made a fortuitous connection wth one of my rl accounts on another social network and had a moment of freak out - locked a lot of my stuff. But I think the time for overreaction is past, and certainly for joint fic I shouldn't be locking it!

Hiiii! Thank you so much for unlocking it. I've been revisiting the BSG fandom lately and this story is one I've always enjoyed - it's on my permanent bookmark list. I completely understand about the connections between rl and lj. I've had similar moments of panic myself. I really appreciate you unlocking this story! I've read your other stories on AO3 as well and very much enjoyed.
