driving, murderers and RAW
Soooo...a work trip to North Carolina that i wasn't planning on happened...which means tons of work. I must have driven 2 billion miles in the last few days. Over the weekend, some crazy guy killed a lot of people in downtown Atlanta and was finally found...oh, about 3/4 a mile from MY house in the suburbs. Way to go ATL PD...that's all i can say. It took some 26 year old widow taken hostage to really end the whole nightmare. I'm sure you heard about it...all over the news. Geraldo Rivera was there...covering it all like the hero he is (or thinks he is).
SO, when i needed nothing but sleep, i went to RAW. I was kind of dreading it in a way...but I'm glad I went. All i can say is....Jake the Snake Roberts! What rock did they pull him out from under? Man, he looked BEAT DOWN! But it was cool all the same. And if that wasn't enough, The Rockers reunited!!!! When i was little, and first watched wrestling, Rockers were my FAVORITE! So, that was fun. What was also fun was people watching. Wrestling in the south..I am sure you can imagine. Mullet-Mania. I have never seen so many pairs of black stonewashed jeans since, oh, 1988. But they were a good, rowdy crowd. Gotta love that. They had a tag team match after the cameras stopped...Batista and Shawn Michaels against Triple H and Edge. That was interesting...and Jake the Snake came BACK out,with the snake this time, which he threw on Ric FLair. Good times. I know, I'm a female who watches wrestling. How cool am i?
