The fact that the email comes from Blaine is the best part.

Annnnnd now I'm picturing Blaine as one of Santa's elves. Cue the short jokes.

"six inch ribbon curls?" kurt asked, looking at howard bamboo incredulously. "that's..impossible."

"six. inch." howard said, turning away.

"don't worry, kurt, i took ribbon curling during elf training! i can help!"

WE SHOULD WRITE THIS.

"enjoy the view?" kurt asked, snarling at the short new kid from the top of the tree.

"you're very good at decorating the tree."

"oh," kurt said, turning towards the tree to hide his grin. no one had ever complimented his tree before, even though he'd be working every christmas since freshman year, and he had a different color scheme and theme each year. "thanks"

Blaine was fascinated, he had never seen such beautiful garland-hanging work outside of the North Pole. The boy just had a knack. This was the kind of talent that could not be taught--the boy had to have been born this way.

Also, he was mind-blowingly beautiful, it did not escape Blaine's notice.

"You're welcome! I'm Blaine. What's your name?" Blaine inched closer and extended his hand to shake, nevermind that his fingertips only reached to around Kurt's shin, what with the ladder.

"kurt," the boy said, getting off of the ladder. "are you new here?"

"yes! i came all the way from the north pole!"

"ah, you mean the one at dillard's? our display is so much better than theirs."

"listen up, everyone!" howard bamboo called. "Santa is coming tomorrow!"

"Santa!" Blaine gasped, grabbing Kurt's arm. "I KNOW him!"

"We get the same guy every year, he's pretty good."

Aiii--okay. Yes! But not today!

I have a fic due for an exchange at some point Wednesday and need to get that wrapped up first. And I need to watch Elf again because I haven't seen it since last Christmas. But email me or PM me on here and we shall talk. =)
