The week in the wake of the Monty has just been really hectic for me. Mostly trying to catch up at work on the things I missed with the days I took off. Bill and I have hardly seen each other, because apparently business at Seekers boomed following the show also. I did drop by last evening to see if he was home. He wasn't, but I found Charlie lying in a depressed heap on their sofa. I felt so sorry for him, but he wasn't looking for pity. Bill had told me the day he got Charlie's note that Charlie and Blaise had broken up. I had to restrain myself from trying to help. This isn't a mere misunderstanding this time like it was when Charlie was sick. This is their own issues that they need to fix themselves, when they are both ready. It just horrible to see. There was no doubt about it that Blaise and Charlie has a real spark between them. I hope they can get their acts together and right it all before it's too late. Of course, I don't know exactly what happened, only that they had split up and Charlie has indicated it's his fault. Merlin, that could mean anything! I just told him that he knows he can come to Bill or me to chat whenever he needed. He just nodded and went back to playing with my slinky.
I also stopped by BlackWood Manor on my way home from work yesterday and managed to catch Sirius. Ali was at the hospital with Ollie, as expected. The whole house just didn't seem the same without them. I think Siri was feeling the same thing. You can clearly tell just from the look in his eyes when we chatted about Ollie's progess that he no only misses Ollie and Ali, but is still very worried about him. When I told him about my idea that Ollie and Ali deserved to have a wedding ceremony to share with their family, he gave me a knowing smile and was over the moon. It's convincing the gold couple that they deserve this that is going to be our stumbling block, and Siri and I are already cooking up some plans together. We need to convince them that we aren't suggesting it because we think their first wedding was inadequate. Not at all! In fact, I'm envious of how special their first one was because they are going to cherish that for the rest of their lives. We just want to give them a chance to share a small piece of that with everyone they love. So much has changed since they were married and I know a lot of us would love to witness them renew their vows and have a huge party to celebrate afterwards. First stop, contacting Draco to get him to work on Ollie once Ollie is feeling a bit better.
I really miss Bill. I might surprise him with a special dinner and dessert. This will have to be at my place, though. We don't want to rub poor Charlie's romantic problems in his face. I think Bill and I need to spend some more quality time together, and I still need to grill him about his performance in the Monty! I'm almost suspicious he has done something like that before! I think a candlelit dinner and some knock-his-socks off sex will do the trick.
I wonder how he would like it if I dressed up as a sexy policewoman...
