I just don't quite know where to start. Other than the day I married Ollie and the day we found out we were expecting Bump, my birthday had to have been the best of my life. I didn't so much as forget it was my birthday, I've just never had much of a fuss made over me on any other birthdays, so I had no anticipation of anything really. I really thought Ollie and I would spend the day with Sirius and Molly, and all would be said and done.
Poor Ollie. My poor baby worked so hard to try and surprise me with my very own purple Harley for my birthday! I was shocked and didn't believe what he'd done at first. In fact, I tried to walk away when I thought Ollie was pulling the piss out of me. I thought he'd just given his own bike a makeover for my birthday! I can see now that my own looks nothing like Ollie's, but I'm pregnant! That's my excuse, and I'm sticking with it. How was I to ever expect he would do that for me??? Of course, the bastard came with a disclaimer. No riding it until Bump is born. How is that fair?! That's like giving a girl a vibrator and telling her not to use it until she's married! Or giving a Scotsman some bagpipes and telling him he can only wear them as a hat!
So, yes. I spent a good portion of my day sitting on it and glaring randomly. I could see Ollie rubbing his head nervously every time I do it because he thinks there is a good chance I will follow through on my three-month threat. Here is the thing, though. I've just been giving one of the best motorcycles in the world and I can't ride it. That means I'm certainly not fucking giving up riding my husband for three months! FUCK. THAT. In fact, I ensured the kilt made an appearance for the closure of my perfect birthday. That alone made me think all my birthdays had come at once.
And the nursery. Oh my fucking god, it's the most beautiful baby nursery I have ever seen in my life! Complete with a ducky theme! It's just stunning. Molly and Sirius worked so hard on it for us. It's ideal for either a boy or a girl, it has everything we are ever going to need and want for the baby already in there. After Sirius left us yesterday morning, Ollie sat down in the rocking chair and was just looking around the room in utter amazement. I sat down in his lap and we just cuddled together for what seemed like ages, not really needing to say much at all. It all felt so right. I think we were both imaging just what it's going to be like when Bump arrives. I tried picturing myself tucking a tiny warm bundle into the crib, or standing at the change table changing nappies. I couldn't quite see it... but I could see Ollie. We're going to be our own little family in the very near future and it all still feels so unreal.
Then, to top the perfect birthday off, Harry and Draco came around for dinner with us. We had a huge laugh and shared stories about that first night I came to dinner here. Sirius, Harry, and Draco were all adamant Ollie had been a horny mess that night, but I can't remember! I have to admit, I was quite smitten myself with him that night. I don't remember much of it beyond trying to cop a few subtle stares at his arse and not being able to stop looking at his lips when he spoke. I never did expect that night we would end up getting married and having a baby together. I know I was just hoping we might have a shag or two. Ollie mumbled something about history repeating, but I'm not sure what he meant. He's been very cryptic with certain things lately. I know he will tell me when he is ready. He's so cute when he blushes and gives me that look that makes me feel like I'm the only person in the whole world. Anyway, the boys kept pulling the piss out of Ollie and how he was tripping all over himself and giving me gooey eyes all night. Ollie denied everything and said he was just happy to catch up with me... until Molly piped up and told us she had photos from that night somewhere and would dig them out. Sirius got all smug and Harry and Draco sniggered. Ollie just looked a bit horrified, which indicates to me that maybe he was a little tongue-tied with me that night. But like I said, all I remember is how fucking gorgeous he looked and trying not to make a huge arse out of myself in front of him.
Right now, I'm just sitting waiting on Mione to pick me up. We're driving to the Lake District, which will be about four hours or so. Better that length of drive than an instant Apparition that leaves me throwing up for hours afterwards. I'm really looking forward to it, but I'll miss Ollie. I've been grilling Sirius to make sure he takes care of my favourite boy. It's not long enough after his sickness for me to not worry. I know he's in good hands with Sirius, and I'm taking four mobile phones with me in case three go flat or something. I just worry. Ollie keeps telling me to relax, because that is the whole point. I don't think it helped the situation too much when I barged in on him in the bathroom this morning in the middle of a sob fest telling him I didn't want to go. Of course I want to go, I was just having a moment. Again, its the pregnant thing.
I know Ollie is up to something with Sirius. I think it has a lot to do with Mione taking me away, too. I just have no idea what. What I do know is Ollie and Sirius can be somewhat dangerous when they get together, and it's only going to be more worriesome if Harry and Draco are involved.
Time will tell, I guess!
