 So about the puppy...

I would have posted more yesterday, but I also got a fantastically horrible stomach virus yesterday, and it was just making me completely useless when I made that post.

Anyways no one care about my sick tummy, you all just want to hear about the puppy.  It's ok I understand.

She is an 8 week old black lab/shephard mix. She has a little bit of that choclate coloring to her in the sunlight, and she has a white streak going down her chest.

We went to Operation Kindness, which is a local no kill shelter about 5 minutes from us, with the intention of looking to consider adopting, and well, she suckered me in. She had a brother and a sister in the cage with her, and they were very very active, but she was just laying there letting the other two romp and chew on everything including her.
I knew she was perfect. Jessie thought she was too docile. I told him once she got away from the others she would perk up, but overall she would be quieter and more laid back, which is what I wanted.
Sure enough we got her out and played with her, and she was more active, but mostly just sweet and loving.
We decided to go home and sleep on it, since Jessie was not quite sure yet.
I went to work yesterday, and he called me just before lunch and asked if we could go to the shelter and adopt her.

So we did.

She is very sweet and loving, and sadly last night because I was violently ill she got a little less attention than she deserved because Jessie was taking care of me as well.

She likes to hide. If she can crawl under something to sleep she is happier, if there is nothing to be under she puts herself in a corner or makes a little hidy hole.

We pondered on names for her, but we think we have settled on one. Partially because she likes to hide, and partially for her white streak, we are going to call her Rogue.

I don't have a camera, so I don't have any pictures for now, but I might have B come take a couple of shots for me so you can see our new family member.
