Good things...bad things
Good things: New roomie got in safe and sound and is busy unpacking and settling in.
Bad things: The Air Conditioner died on Saturday.
I mean dead dead.
I mean needs to be completely replaced dead.
I mean the AC repair guy said "I have never seen anything like this in my more than ten years of working on AC's" dead.
No replacing a part or charging the freeon or cleaning something. Flat out replacement.
And of course it cost us $100 to be told that.
On the happier side paying that $100 also got us a note saying we did nothing wrong and it is not our fault the damn thing died, so when the Home Warranty people call us back they should replace the AC.
No telling how long that will take.
In the meantime, I am hot.
