Official Truck Driving, Beer Drinking Gal!
Geez, I think I may just have to re-teach myself how to use the LJ again! So a lot has happened since my last update but I need to get this off my chest first. I have a new love in my life and it's country music! No, I have not snapped, as some may think. Spend a week in a truck and you just might get addicted, or just 10.5 hours. Got home Sunday after a week in Springfield/Washington. Can't say a whole lot of work got done everyday (hey, I did get payed for watching movies and sleeping in the truck on tuesday after showing up at 8:30 and not being able to deliver till 3:30 into the warehouse) but we made every night count in the drinking department. A beer (or 2) in the shower = a must have! Kevin was buying so much beer from the people at the convenience store/barber shop (yes, there does exist a sketchier place than the dep) that he became their favourite customer. We cleaned them out of Coors in less than a week. All in all, it was a great week on the road. Can't wait for the next trip, well...minus the cheezies tho, HA! Saw Wedding Crashers last night, too fuckin funny, and leave for PEI in 10 days...10 days of sun,sand,and partying! Now if only St.FX would send me some course registration shit, a little direction for September would be great!
