Poland Part 1
I've officially been "home" at least a week now and still have not managed to unpack completely. Finally realized that if I didn't stop trying to organize, clean up and unpack, I'd never get myself packed for Poland. What an adventure this has been so far. Can speak very little of the language but understand everyones shirts. They love their english slogans altho probably have no idea what their shirts even say. Good thing for my grandma being around or we'd get nowhere. From the words I know so far - mom,dad,hello,thank you,pee,hurry up, and yes - I'd still be lost in warsaw. There's so much history to learn but what is really cool is learning all about your own history. So far have been just racking my grandma's brain and have visited family and the grave sites of my great grandparents going back 3 generations, but will be making a stop in at the Kolberg Museum next week as we head further south. Lots more to see and do and can't wait until we hit prague next week too! Get some time to sit, relax and enjoy the beer!
