(no subject)
I was with my mom at Wal-mart doing some back to school shopping the other day. My mom went to go look at the magazine rack, and I began the check-out process. The lady scans a bottle of white out, looks at me, and asks how old I am. I smile and say "I am almost 20." She asks to see my I.D. and I show her...she is SHOCKED to realize that I am 19. She says I look like I am 16.
I was dumbfounded. Usually people think I look a lot older than I am.
It has happened a lot recently.
The guy at the container store thought I was in high school.
The jewelry party hostess said I didn't look much older than 17.
It kind of bothers me.
My mom laughed and told me never to get a fake because they wouldn't believe it, or me.
She also said that when I get to be her age, I'll appreciate looking younger.
This is a far cry from when a guy asked me if I was 28...

I leave for school in one week and one day!
