What is the best way to approach a doctor's appointment where you want to tell the doctor you've found something that matches 99.9% of your symptoms and you'd like to check it out further?
I assume if I make sure I have plenty of information with me, as well as a list of my symptoms, that might help?
My doctor is very....no-nonsense. Which I like about her, it means she doesn't stuff around, but I'm not sure how she's going to take me saying I've found something I think might be wrong.
For clarification, she's been saying the unsteadiness/balance issues/million other things is to do wth fluid build-up on my ear drums. But she's been saying that for nearly 3 years now and I've tried the things she's told me to try and they haven't helped.
However, Migraine Associated Vertigo (MAV) matches 99.9% of my symptoms. Reading other people's reports on living with it is like reading my own journal. It's freaky. So I want to find out. It may not be that....but it may be.
Has anyone ever had to do this sort of thing? Show the doctor some info and say "What do you think?"
