Writer's Block: Carrying the Cultural Torch
I have no specific traditions. There are a couple of things that I have to do every day, but I wouldn't call them traditions, more like necessities. I have to make the bed when I get up and I have to take my birth control when I go to bed. Other than that my days are completely unstructured and haphazard. I do whatever I want, whenever I feel like it, with no need to consider anyone else but David, who on weekdays is only home in the evening.
When I'm working I operate on a day to day basis, most of the time not knowing what I will be doing the next day. That's the reality of my freelance lifestyle. It makes planning things very difficult because I never know what I'll be doing until I'm actually doing it.
I like it that way, for now at least. I'm sure one day I'll want more structure....or I'll fall into a gig that offers more structure.
