i seem to have committed.....a bit of a faux pas
Emily and i, (who are doing the same job this summer) had a...slight mishap yesterday...
We lost a russian child while on an excursion to Cramond (a village by the beach, not far from edinburgh...)
This of course was extremely scary, since she was only 11 and anything could have happened to her, like falling in the sea, being abducted etc...
Guess what ACTUALLY HAPPENED?
Her parents came and picked her up! Which they weren't supposed to do, they were supposed to be picking her up from the college after the excursion finished! Whereas normal parents would have come and TOLD the Activity Leaders that they were taking their kid away, these ones decided not to bother, instead they told A 14 YEAR OLD CHINESE BOY!!!..leaving us panicking and running around cramond looking for her..we only found out where she was when we phoned the college to ask if she was there...luckily though, the college got them to apologise to us, not the other way round, since i'd have told them right where they could stick it..

By the way, does anyone have a tricorn hat i could borrow for my brother? he's going to an eighties party as adam ant on saturday...?
