Thursday night i went to the mall and ran into steve, who told me about a little mc battle that was going on. unbeknownst to me my straight edge punk friend was a rapper. so howard and i decided to attend and drag allen along. little did we know the chaos that was to ensue. as some of you may know, "beat boxing" is a favorite past time of some of the underground rappers. it also happens to be a favorite past time of my boyfriend. so here we are watching white kids beat box and other guys rapping and allen decides to join in. now i'm not saying that he's bad at it. but the whole idea of beat boxing kinda makes me chuckle a little. but here i was watching my boyfriend beat box in the hooters parking lot. the guy putting on the battle was so impressed with him that he gave him his number and wants to put him into competitions! "That was 90 seconds of true street hip hop!" Oh man.
