My mom and grandma have been hounding me to get them each an 8X10 picture that they can put next to the 8X10's they have of my sisters Kyndra and Kayla from their college graduation. So last night I logged onto my gallery on my photographer's website and put one 8X10 in my shopping cart. The total? $45. She was charging $7 for shipping even though she lives about 4 miles away from me. I'm not working yet and I've been living off of my refund all semester..so the last thing I can afford right now is to spend $45 on an 8X10 picture. So I decided to put the digital proofs that my photographer gave me on my flash drive and took it over to Walmart. I printed eight 4X6 pictures and bought two picture frames for a grand total of $7.48. I could have spent $45 on one 8X10 picture, then I would've had to pay an additional price to get a duplicate made. I'll take the $7.48, thanks.
I'm pretty proud of myself. I sent a picture of the completed frames to my mom and she absolutely loves them - and that's really all that matters.
Emma and I (again, not emmataylorr) have finally finished our article for RG.net. I don't know when it'll get posted or anything, but it's nice to have that done and nice to have contributions from Rupert and his agent. I've been working here and there on my sections and getting them live as well. I'm hoping to have them up before the end of the week!
This morning, when I left to go to Walmart and print off pictures I also stopped to check the mail. I had a slip in the box here at our apartment and I just assumed that someone had sent me a present for graduation. I was wrong, surprisingly. The Noble Collection prizes are here! I wish I could take them out of the boxes and take pictures of them..but I can't. =( They're sitting under the Christmas tree and they'll probably be sitting there for several months, haha. If they weren't plain boxes, they'd make our living room look much more festive.
218. 271. 99. 179. 293. 195. 252. These numbers reflect the number of visitors I have had to my LJ from December 1st to today. I have no idea what the people creeping (many of them have visited every single day since December 1st) might be looking for, unless they're hoping that I'll say something about them or about drama or something. But really, I don't write about anything remotely interesting - or at least not interesting enough to justify that many visitors/page views per day.
My flawless Belgian lover/LeakyCon roommate/foreign exchange sister [Emma] made me choke on my water when she showed me this, which she also insisted I post here. Between the Patrick meme and the other random things she comes up with..Emma always keeps me laughing.
Speaking of LeakyCon; our roommates are fantastic and we're only 217 days away! Yes, I said only.
Also: Tumblr should never leave me again. I never realized how addicting it was until I got one - but I was horribly bored in the wee hours of the morning without it. I had lots of things to reblog when it finally came back to life. And, knowing Tumblr, I'm sure it'll be down again in a day or two.
Oh, and happy Glee day!
