And another chapter begins!
Today was my last day at North Ridge, my last day of student teaching, and my last day of college at Texas Tech University (at least for a few years - and at least as an undergrad) EVER. Saying goodbye to my 3rd graders back in October was hard, but saying goodbye to my sweet kindergarten babies today was so much harder. They cried, I cried, Mrs. Garza cried..we all cried! I'm so lucky to have been placed in such an incredible classroom at an amazing school. The kids taught me so much and definitely worked to make me a better person and a better teacher. My last day was so much fun and I would live the past 7 weeks over and over again and never change one thing. I will never forget Mrs. Garza's kindergarten classroom or the 20 little friends I fell in love with. ♥
I miss them already! So much so, in fact, that I'm going to surprise them on Monday morning after they get back to class from specials. I can't wait to see their sweet faces again!
