"You're just another coward. It's probably a good thing that I didn't expect anything amazing from you."

The girl stopped in place, her hands curling briefly by her thighs as she bowed her head. For a moment Noel almost turned around to glare at him, her eyes closing as those lips pressed together in a thin line. When she did turn back to look at the male Jun only smirked, those eyes narrowing slowly before his face formed that stone mask once more. He was right and he knew it, Noel could do nothing but let him relish her defeat.

"You--"

"Don't talk. Just go. We both know you don't have anything worthwhile to say, and I'm not going to be stupid like Nikoli and actually listen to you."

"Bastard. Fucker." Noel hissed back, unable to think straight as she crossed the floor without so much as a second thought.

Jun continued to read his book, purposely ignoring the emotional female as he slowly turned the page. When that pale hand reached out to grab the spine and jerk the book away the man's hand shot out to latch onto that thin wrist in a painful grip. His lips twitched as Noel released the book, looking up from her stilled hand to the male's face. She shuddered, biting her lip in frustration before pulling her hand away as that grip loosened. That fist was tugged to her chest as she stepped back, her gaze falling toward the floor as she desperately fought the hot tears that started to drip down her cheeks.

"If you hate me so much why do you even talk to me?"

"Because I like watching stupid bitches cry."

Jun didn't react fast enough to stop the hand that slapped across his face, leaving a vivid red mark that stung his pride and skin alike. Before he could react Noel was already storming out of the room, trying to hide her wet face as she opened and slammed the door behind her. The male continued to watch the door long after it had shut, a heated glare boring it's way into that surface as his fingertips rubbed his cheek gingerly.
