Music Related, Deal with it.
I have two new favorite songs to play. Explode by Dishwalla and Black Water from the Final Fantasy Advent Children soundtrack. Not all of Black Water, mind you, but mostly the parts that I like the most of the song. The problem with Black Water is that there's a lot of sliding with chords that goes on and that's tearing the shit out of my fingers.
I also remembered why I liked the song Do the Evolution so much yesterday.
In other news YTMND has ruined several songs for me forever. "Right Now"(And what's great is that the only part I really like about the song is the piano. The vocals are all right) "Push it to the Limit" and "Feuer Frei"(thinking about it I'd bet that Feuer Frei is done in Drop D, but still probably above my skill level) are among the top on that list. But Right Now isn't really that much of a disapointment since I'm not a Van Halen fan. I'd consider myself more of a David Lee Roth fan since he was the only real part of that band I enjoyed. I mean, sure, the guy may have talent with the Guitar but it's not the kind that I'm particularly fond of. And the drums are kind of boring. And I'm sure there's some bass in there somewhere but nothing that grabs the attention too much.
*cough* I'm gonna stop before anyone who's a Van Halen fan decides to take a pot-shot off at me.
So about that Axl Rose...Okay, I'm not gonna get into that either.
Yes I am. He's supposedly saying that there's gonna be new Guns N Roses. What the guy on the radio said is about right, "He's been saying that for nine years. I'm not holding my breath."
I wonder what the DeLeo brothers are up to right now? I mean, what music they're making if any.
The definition of Guilty Pleasure is enjoying Rick James.
I never thought about it before, but it's kind of weird that all of the intricate stuff on the guitar is done with your off hand. I mean there's some of that going on with the primary hand but it's just interesting. I wonder why that is? I mean, I'm more coordinated with my primary hand otherwise. Huh.
