So much has happened since I last wrote.
I feel a little guilty for not keeping up, but then again I haven't really felt like posting.
I guess I didn't even write that Walter and I got back together.
But I don't think I really even specifically said that we had broken up.
We were split for about 6 weeks, but God has made it clear to both of us that we are supposed to be together, so that's that.
We moved to California.
Yeah, I know...I haven't really told too many people.
We left right before Thanksgiving, spent a couple weeks in Houston, and we've been here since end of November.
I'm working in my mom's office for now, and trying to find a band.
Walter is working on getting his career started out here, and so far is booked into January.
A Good Front broke up.
Right after releasing an album on iTunes.
Yeah...bummer.
No, it's not because I moved.
Originally, I was going to plan us a West Coast tour for this spring, because I have way more contacts and opportunities out here to make that happen.
Everything was going as planned...but I guess Gray just thought it wouldn't be worth it, and what the band was turning into wasn't his "ideal", so he just decided to end it.
Bryan and I still keep in touch, and he actually is thinking about coming out here when Amy leaves for the Peace Corps.
I'm super excited about that.
I played with some guys last week, but I haven't heard back from them.
I have an audition with another band this Sunday afternoon that I'm pretty excited about.
I like their music and they seem more serious about the band, so we'll see how that goes.
Other than that, I'm just hanging out.
I've got a lot more responsibility now that I'm living at home (as far as my family is concerned), like picking up/dropping my sister wherever and around the house.
I guess it's a fair trade off for not having bill obligations.
It's just taking some getting used to having to take care of a family again.
And my dog is really sick. I don't think she's going to make it.
She hasn't eaten in a week, and can't hold anything down.
She's 16, so it's not a big surprise...but we've had her since I was 9.
She's been in our family longer than my sister. By 4 years.
So I'm sad about that.
That's pretty much it for now...
