You know, one of the things that I'm having most fun with doing these Red Nose Day pieces is the fact that I'm ending up drawing stuff that I either don't often do or would never think to do myself. this is a case in point. I'm not a Tolkien fan but was asked to draw Galadriel and this is the result. She's a bit Lady of Shalott, but I'm rather pleased with her. I'm insanely smugly pleased with the owl though. I drew it in about ten seconds without a reference photo and it turned out perfectly. Odd how that happens sometimes.
