This tutorial is for getting the yellow/green effect in icons.
Going from
to
1) Open up your ready base. Crop, etc. Screen the image if needed.
2) Layer>New Adjustment Layer>Selective Colour
Reds: -100 | 22 | 100 | -29
Yellows: -63 | 22 | 100 | -20
Neutrals: 20 | -6 | 19 | -12
-set to 80% opacity.
3) Layer>New Adjustment Layer>Hue/Saturation
Master
S: 26
L: 3
Yellows
S: 6
L: 7
4) Layer>New Adjustment Layer>Curves
Channel: BLUE
I: 97
O: 12
(this is going to be right at the bottom)
5) And you're done!
Add a text, texture, fancy something else and you've got an awesome yellow/green icon!
