The weight loss is going slow but steady. I'm just 2 tenths of a pound away from getting my 10 percent award. I should have removed my bra before I weighed, with underwires that baby has to weight at least a third of a pound.

I'm down two sizes now, I have given away some clothes, taken in some others, and now I'm starting to raid the back of my closet for those clothes I used to wear before putting on 60 pounds. People I go out with who haven't seen me in awhile keep telling me how great I look. They don't ask if I've lost weight, they just tell me how great I look. I feel good even though I have about 40 pounds to go, I can see my waist again.

I'm having a dinner party next month and 3 out of 4 of the items I'm making are Weight Watcher recipes. They really have some great stuff in their cookbooks. The dinner menu (can you guess which one isn't the WW recipe?):

Hors Douevres - Red snapper ceviche

First course - Sopa de Lima (Lime soup)

Main course - Mexican torte (chorizo, re-fried beans, roasted red peppers, onions, layered between corn tortillas and covered with cheese and baked) with shredded lettuce, salsa, and sour cream on the side

Dessert - caramel flan
