Love Signings
I've had good book signings.(Sold some books.) I've had bad signings. (Forgot I was coming.)
Saturday at Hastings was a good one. I had fun. They had made a huge poster of my book cover, had a table set up where people coming through the door couldn't miss me, and gave me cappuccino too. What more could a girl want? Some people stopped to talk about writing a book. Of course, I like to talk about writing too. One had never shook an author's hand before mine. That made me feel awesome. Some people came in the store and carefully avoided me. They just sort of stared straight ahead. I smiled at them anyway. Oh, and even better, I sold some books. It was a lovely afternoon.
