Chili's, Al Ghurair
thursday: tita pple and i met at Chili's Grill and Bar at Al Ghurair around 3pm. we had fun chatting while enjoying our lunch, and we almost got annoyed of too many waiters (even the manager) who kept coming back and forth our table asking if we still need anything more. though, i liked the ambience of Chili's, Al Ghurair better than City Center. so comfeee!!! lol.
after some panic mode over whether people will allow me to be with her till evening... we went shopping at La Senza and Marks and Spencer, where tito boyet came from work and picked us up. we headed next to Karama to check the store where we buy perfumes and souvenirs. i bought some to give for family and friends back home. then they asked me where i wanted to go next. i said anywhere they wanted... they were teasing me that i should take advantage of the very rare opportunities i can get out with them. we thought of going to a bar, but being a weekend, it might be too crowded, so we took a long drive towards Ibn Battuta Mall, where i bought some stuffs for my mom. i'm planning to redecorate our interiors while i'm home for my vacation. i'll also make some plans for the renovation of the exterior but the budget for that might come by next years. anyway, i also bought a 512mb Memory Stick Pro for my Cybershot P200, and after discount, they gave it to me for 310dhs.
it really was a fun day. i was really tired and it was already 3am of friday when tita apple left our house and we were able to sleep. in the morning, we were surprised to see dindin in my bed sleeping. she went out of her parents' room and moved on my side.
i think tita apple is still hungry.
friday: we went to Oasis Center and Deira City Center for more shopping. the things i've been buying mostly are the ones i'll be taking back to manila because i'm planning to send them through cargo. i bought some candles and scented popourri at Lifestyle. i got myself sales-talked at the make-up section. they had a promo where you'll get a free bag/pouch for buying 3 items of the same brand. i liked the bag of L'oreal, but i didn't like the way their mascara makes my lashes very thick and sticky. i wanted to buy good quality make-up, so i got a waterproof mascara, liquid foundation, and a lipstick from Maybelline instead. they only had a makeup pouch but since i needed one anyway, i was happy with it. no more cluttered make-ups and accessories on my bag. lol. later, i got a 3d card with dolphins at Magrudy's for 28dhs already. and tita mhy and i bought a 128mb Cybershot memory stick for my uncle's birthday on the 11th.
enough shopping, i'm cash-broke now. *frowns*
