sometimes, i can't understand why some "insensitive" people gain happiness from the misery they cause others... (yes, i'm being sarcastic in here!) i'm fuming mad!!!! no need to ellaborate the details in here, though.

but like an answered prayer, i've read these "words of advice" from mountainwings.com, and somehow i felt like the words wanted

I have a friend who never seems to be happy herself and she's always putting other people down. She's actually lost of a lot of friends and soon she'll be losing me. I suppose it doesn't really matter though because she just graduated and will be moving away. From what I can figure and talking to the mutual friends who have noticed her.. total lack of niceness, all we can think is that she's very very insecure with herself and feel she needs boost her self-esteem by bringing others down. Most of us are quite sick of this and some of us have tried to talk to her about it but everything it everyone else's fault and not hers. This also might relate to her dating a friend of ours. They were quite nice and good before they started dating but it seemed like once they got together they were very very good for each other and are still happy, planning to move in together in another town, but they bring out the worst in each other for others. It seems like they have no tolerance for differing views or character flaws of other people and they'll talk about people behind their backs and just be mean and bitter. ::shrugs:: It's really quite sad because they're good friends but it's hard to talk to them when I don't know if I even want to bother trying to fix things.

going through this with a friend is tough, much tougher if you're blood related, don't you agree??? i try to understand them as much as i can, but they really are too insecure and wrapped up in themselves only, they don't care if they're hurting people in purpose anymore. call it self-centered, i guess.
