Title: "One who has everything"
Author: Beverly aka Bev *too*
Prompt: # 091 "Birthday"
Fandom/pairing: CSI, Gil Grissom
Wordcount: 100

What can you give someone who has everything? Or better: someone who doesn't WANT anything?

Nick gazed at his calendar where a big red mark showed him the fast approach of his lover's birthday. He'd had a hard time thinking about it until finally, after almost two months, a brilliant idea had come to his mind.

Now he was kneeling in one of Las Vegas's top restaurants, with Gil sitting in front of him, gaping openmouthed at him.

"Gil Grissom, will you marry me?"

Who said it was hard to find a gift for someone who claims to have everything?

The end

Title: "Nobody"
Author: Beverly aka Bev *too*
Prompt: # 092 "Christmas"
Fandom/pairing: CSI, Gil Grissom
Wordcount: 100

He had always felt kind of lost on Christmas eve. Being in the lab had given him something to do. Something to take his mind off of the fact that he had nobody to go home to. Nobody to celebrate with. It had given his life at least a little bit sense.

Now he looked around. Looked at all the people who were sitting at the table, laughing, drinking, eating. A gentle touch to his knee made him look at his lover who sat next to him, his dark eyes shining in the candlelight. And he whispered, "Merry Christmas, Nicky."

Title: "Grateful"
Author: Beverly aka Bev *too*
Prompt: # 093 "Thanksgiving"
Fandom/pairing: CSI, Gil Grissom
Wordcount: 100

"What are you grateful for, Griss?"

The question caught Gil a little unprepared. He looked up from the book he had just been reading, glancing at Nick. The younger man was writing invitations for the annual Stokes' Thanksgiving Party which would be held here this year.

"Hm?"

Nick smiled. "What are you grateful for? There must be something. And don't get sappy and say 'You.' That's an easy way out."

He grinned. That would have been exactly his reply. He moved a little bit closer, and kissed his lover.

"I'm grateful for your parents having sex almost 39 years ago."

End

Title: "Do you believe in magic?"
Author: Beverly aka Bev *too*
Prompt: # 094 "Solstice"
Fandom/pairing: CSI, Gil Grissom
Wordcount:

In old times the solstice were considered magic. Druids used to dance around big fires, singing chants to their old gods, asking for a good harvest or a mild winter. For them it was magic.

Gil Grissom was a firm believer that all that dancing and singing of the old druids was only to calm their people down, and there was absolutely no magic involved.

But right now, in his bed during the summer solstice, with his lover wrapped around him, he wasn't quite so sure about it anymore. Because for him ... every second spend with Nick was pure magic.

Title: "Never brought to mind"
Author: Beverly aka Bev *too*
Prompt: # 095 "New Year"
Fandom/pairing: CSI, Gil Grissom
Wordcount: 100

"Should auld aquaintace be forgot ..."

Gil hummed the tune silently. His party had been a success, but now he was glad that all of his guests had left, and it was quiet again.

"..and never brought to mind."

There were some things he NEVER wanted to be brought to his mind again. Then there were some things he wanted to hold onto forever.

Like the fact that Sara finally got over him.

All the cases they solved.

And the passionate kiss Nick had given him at midnight in front of everyone. He felt two arms circling his waist, and smiled.

Title: "The note"
Author: Beverly aka Bev *too*
Prompt: #096 "Writer's Choice"
Fandom/pairing: CSI, Gil Grissom
Wordcount: 100

It took him a while before the soft rustling of paper invaded his dreams. Slowly, sleepily Gil opened one eye, and saw a little note under his right hand.

A note.

No Nick.

Just a note.

He took the note, and reached with his other hand for his glasses that were on the little table beside their bed. He put them on, and read the note. And he had to smile.

'Gone out for fresh croissants. Be back in 20. Love you. Nick.'

Gil laid back again, closed his eyes again and murmured softly, "I love you, too, my Nicky."

Title: "Moving Day"
Author: Beverly aka Bev *too*
Prompt: #097 "Writer's choice"
Fandom/pairing: CSI, Gil Grissom
Wordcount: 100

"I found one!"

Nick's voice sounded enthusiastic over the phone, and Gil could almost see his blinding smile.

"Where is it?" he asked back.

"It's about twenty minutes from the lab, with a big garden, and really, really nice neighbors. I already talked to the couple next to us. Gil, they have a dog. Mikey, a sweet black lab, and ... "

"Alright, Nicky, alright. Breathe!" he interrupted his lover. "When can I take a look?"

Nick gave him the address, and Gil scribbled it down. Then he put the receiver down with a smile. It seemed as if they were moving.

End

Title: "Sense ...
Author: Beverly aka Bev *too*
Prompt: #098 "Writer's choice"
Fandom/pairing: CSI, Gil Grissom
Wordcount: 100

Where was the sense in all of that?

Gil looked down at the bloody bodies of the two children. He knew that a few feet away he would find their parents. And he knew that downstairs he would find the killer. A junkie who was SO high that he didn't even know where he was right now. Didn't even know what year it was.

He sighed deeply, glad that he hadn't assigned Nick to this case. It would have touched the younger man deeply. Maybe too deep.

This makes NO sense, Gil thought, as he began to examine the bodies.

Title: ... and sensuality"
Author: Beverly aka Bev *too*
Prompt: #099 "Writer's choice"
Fandom/pairing: CSI, Gil Grissom
Wordcount: 100

Gil watched Nick from the shadows, watched the way the muscles moved sensually under all that golden skin. He relaxed against the doorframe, to take the sight in. Nick had just walked out of the shower, and was now drying himself.

But not in an efficient way. Nick moved slowly, almost as if he knew that he was being watched. A few drops ran down his side, and Gil wanted nothing more than to walk over and lick them away.

He almost sighed in disappointment when Nick threw the towel away and put his shirt on. It was pure sensuality.

Title: "Guess what?"
Author: Beverly aka Bev *too*
Prompt: #100 "Writer's choice"
Fandom/pairing: CSI, Gil Grissom
Wordcount: 100

"I should have guessed it, hm?"

Nick raised his head, and glanced over at his lover who stood in the open door to the kitchen, watching him with a tender smile.

"Should have guessed what, Gil?" Nick asked back.

Slowly, almost predatory, the older man walked closer, pressed his lover against the counter and took his mouth in a hart, passionate kiss.

"When you said you wanted to get into my pants ... I should have guessed that you only wanted to wear them," he murmured between two kisses, and cupped his lover's backside lovingly through his own, black silken shorts.
