Another typical Thanksgiving at my house.

Last week I wrote a pre-dated post, it was happy and cheerful, because I was really looking forward to today. Of course the reality is nothing like I imagined.

I was up until about 4am making banana bread last night. I didn't have to make it, I actually wanted to. I love banana bread. So I didnt get up until around 11 today.

Our family elected not to actually cook our own turkey this year, we ordered a pre-cooked one from safeway. It was actually a really good deal. A 10-12lb turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, cranberry sauce, rolls, and a pumpkin pie for 35 bucks. It was my idea because I didn't want to have to do to many dishes after all that cooking.

On a side note, when my mom went to pick up the dinner, they forgot to ring it up for her and our thanksgiving meal ended up being free.

So around 4 we all sat down to a really yummy meal, the food was great. And when I say all I actually mean everyone but my brother, who was still sleeping because he was out all night.

The high point of the day came around 6 or so when my sisters bf(ex-bf now) started trouble, and of course my sister loves drama so she gets all into it. Before I know whats going on there are cops at our house... and my sister doesn't even live here.

Apparently her bf was all upset because we didn't invite him over for dinner. I'm glad we didn't invite him, he's a jerk and he gives me the creeps. I don't care what his excuse was, the end result was terribly annoying. So my sister kicked him out and they broke up, but my mom had to call the cops to make him leave, since he was yelling at them from our front yard.

And that's the story of my wonderful holiday.

My family is so very embarrassing, I hate to admit I'm related to them.
