Watched "Requiem for a Dream" last night, because Steve (from band camp last year) said I should. Very awesome movie. I could have done without the butt-fucking party, particularly with Jess's mom sitting there knitting the whole time, but other than that it was one of those movies that sucked you in and didn't spit you out until the end. Definitely makes one think twice about heroin... and diet pills... and TV... and creepy pimps with extra space between their teeth.
As of now I'm bored. Listening to the VH1 stream of The Cure's new album. It's okay. But it's one of those albums that bands put out when they mature a lot. I can't get into it. Give me 20 years.
Perhaps I'll harvest the lawn today. It's past the point of calling it mowing. It's a foot and a half high. Then perhaps I'll take a bicycle jaunt in the rain... It looks as if it will rain. Flying through the rain would be very appealing in this state. I've been told I have to go 3 miles today or else...
