if it keeps on raining...
Standing outside in the rain waiting for 20 minutes is not fun. I thought perhaps there would be a point to getting my liscense, mainly not doing things like that. But since my mom needs the car most days so she can sit around the house all day, the point really doesn't occur. I'd be better off sitting on the zoo-bus for 45 minutes, but alas, I can't catch it because I don't generally run for dear life out of school as soon as the bell rings. Maybe I should just sleep on the side of the road under my guitar case every night. That would solve the problem.
The highlight of my week so far has been Olivia sitting with me on the bus yesterday and reading Ethan Frome and trying to get me to go to her basketball game. Unlike the rest of the children on that bus (who are by and large insufferable little insects) Olivia is like a ray of sunshine and I feel the better for having been in her presence.
