Today was Dress Up for Halloween Even Though It's Not Halloween Day. Drew and Katie and I went to the Dubois' house at 7 this morning to make them pretty. Hehe. Pretty Goth that is. It was really funny. These are the twins who play piano and sing in church every weekend, and they went around in black clothes and eyeliner, and Mike had my dog chain and Matt had badly spiked blue hair. It was pretty damn funny. Mike looked like the freaky guy in the Butterfly Effect and Matt looked like a skater with an unhealthy obsession with Good Charlotte. Drew had this big black trenchcoat and drippy black eye circles and Katie was gloom cookie with wings.

So I got home today and Mike calls up... "Uh Steph, can I run over so you can unlock me?" because I completely forgot about taking that chain off him at the end of the day. (It's stays together with a little padlock from the hardware store.) I greeted him at the door with a leash and pretended to drag him inside. For a moment there he seemed truly scared! Yay I scared someone on Halloween.
And yes I did unlock him. All in good time!
Tonight is Go Freeze Your Ass Off at the Football Game While Watching Mack Annihilate Our Team Night. I'm enjoying assigning names to every day, hehe. Tomorrow I'm going to a John Edwards rally in Bangor, apparently. It should be interesting. And probably boring after awhile, but I suppose one must endure such things to gain experience.
