Most major cities have a brothel and a guild of assassins right next door to a temple. So shady.
Run by a parliament, rather than a monarchy. Parliament backed by any number of noble, criminal houses. Political stability? N o p e.

Once the home of dragons, long before they slowly died out. Not many people live in the Frozen North, since it is basically a frozen tundra. The tribes of old still make their nomadic way over the land and often those taking personal journeys tend to find themselves here. It holds old magic.

The Wasteland is a land filled with deserts, giving it its name. Despite the intense heat and dry land, it's actually quite populated, thanks to irrigation and the occasional oasis here and there. Also home to a few nomadic tribes but also a flourishing culture that has become a center of trade.
