back from my weekend in vermont; it was a lovely trip, and it is so so so nice to come back to feedback on my fic! i'll be answering comments a bit later, after i unwind and eat dinner. but first, i had to do this and post it up before i forgot or lost steam. XD

anyway, i'm posting tonight with a link, something that occurred to me on friday night on my long and beautiful drive. i was listening to my first podfic ever, of the amazing "stars apart, shine the same" by sineala. and it occurred to me wow, i would fucking love to have podfic of-- well, of EVERYTHING in this fandom. and while i know nothing about it, the process of reading and sharing and how people navigate that with the authors and how they go about posting it, i figured there's no better way to find out than to jump in with both feet. (what's that you say, leap without looking? ah, yeah, i've heard that before....)

so i bring you subspacetransmissions, which will hopefully become host to a podfic archive of star trek fic. i put up a few discussion posts and i'd love to get people's feedback on how this might work. please feel free to comment even if you're not terribly interested in the idea of trek podfic; i'd love just to have people's opinions or experiences on record. and definitely feel free to pass the link along to anyone and everyone else-- the more input i get, the better. :"D

--and yes, it's on dreamwidth. both for the fact that the username was too long for LJ and i just thought, idk, dreamwidth needs more love than i've been giving it lately, and it's been an amazing home for the trek fandom so far. and if you don't have a Dth account, you can still comment with OpenID really easily-- so get your asses over there and gimme your ideas! :"D

phew. now, dinner; back later with fic.
