(no subject)
so i have this running joke with myself that alternates between "gaila has bagged the entire magnificent seven [bridge crew + mccoy + scotty]" and "gaila has bagged all but one of the magnificent seven, and the missing one isn't spock" and "gaila has bagged all but one of the magnificent seven, and the missing one isn't uhura". i think it'd be hilarious if the only one she hadn't slept with was scotty or mccoy. (though as a total non sequitur, i have to say i really hate fics that depict scotty as like this idiot savant who's so in love with the ship that he can't carry on a conversation with keenser, let alone a human being. *anyway*.)
not that being up late at night makes me really, really random or anything. but i swear this had a coherent beginning, which was in the gaila/sulu scene i'm writing for big bang (how this ended up in there i will never tell it's raindissolved's fault!) and how dear raindissolved is a gaila/chekov shipper and thinking how much i love fics where gaila is just this cheerful sweet girl who'll sleep with people so long as they're smart enough to keep up with how awesome she is. and how i've read like, one gaila/spock fic and a scant handful of gaila/uhura that didn't suck. and how i just want to write about her for ever and there are way too many things i want to write in the world. but "how gaila got a perfect score in enterprise senior staff sex bingo" is like, edging to the top of the list. :3
my head is fucking killing me. i just want to reach in, shake my brain around and have all the relevant coherent and creative parts that need to slave away at big bang stick together-- like that line from kiss kiss bang bang, "it's like they took the US by the east coast and shook, and all the normal girls managed to hang on." siiiiiiiiiiiiigh.
'monsters vs aliens' was hilarious. and not having work tomorrow *owns*. i think i'll head to bed now. ♥!
