okay, flist, time for you to do your duties again. because i am certifiable, indeed, i am debating signing up for reel_startrek. BUT i will only do so if i have a good solid idea and something i know i can bang out without too much trouble. because, you know, big bang wasn't enough to heap onto my plate. *facepalm*

SO. YOUR MISSION, SHOULD YOU CHOOSE TO ACCEPT IT. choose which of the following sounds most interesting (and yes, they're all kirk/spock, or have the ability to be, don't pretend you're surprised).

• Boondock Saints - Kirk and Spock as the brothers, Spock Prime as the Duke, Scotty as Rocco their slightly dopey BFF, Pike as Smecker with Uhura, Chekov and Sulu as the FBI agents (yeah, Sulu's so Greenley, lol, and i promise i don't just want to write this in order to make Chekov say "what's the symbology there?" ;)).
• The TOS Episode "The Man Trap" : The Faculty Remix! Scotty is Casey the friendly nerd, Uhura is Delilah the bitchy It Girl, Spock is Stokely the antisocial misanthrope, Kirk is Stan the popular kid with sekrit brains, McCoy is Zeke the loner who falls for the wrong girl, and Marybeth is McCoy's old flame Nancy... aka THE SALT VAMPIRE!
• The Thomas Crown Affair - Kirk is Thomas Crown the millionaire-turned-art-thief, Spock is Banning the insurance detective with a stupid crush, Uhura is Mike the cop with the crush on Spock, McCoy is Anna the forger who everyone thinks Crown is banging... idk, this is less fleshed out, i just like the idea of a scene where kirk crashes a boat cus he likes the splash. :E
• And for the Extreme Woobie Edition : Star Trek III, the Search for Spock, P.S. I Love You style. Because I just watched that movie last weekend and was wallowing in how broken Kirk was after Spock died, and everything he went through to get him back. I'm not sure which way I'd have it end; sad but hopeful for kirk, but with spock still dead; or totally woobie and sweet with spock coming back to life. THOUGHTS?
