Was so bummed over Elliott's (v. classy and v.v. moving) departure that it took this long to sink in that a) there's only one week left to this season and b) the weird hot guy from the Vegas audition has actually made it to the final.
Gadzooks.
Guess it's official that music reality shows can be a viable outlet for discovering exciting new artists, because songs like this or this are bona fide gems no matter how you stumble across them. Since the man is as good as signed now, I hope they'll let him use his own material on the album; if nothing else, a voice like that shouldn't be wasted telling other people's stories.
