Home owner

Being a home owner is.. EXPENSIVE!
It may be because I like things the way I like them, but damn. New tools for a yard, replacing the regulator (NOT covered by home owners insurance for a stupid little detail!!ERRRR), getting rain gutters... just about all my saving has vanished.. but..This is MY home... amazing..

Don't get me wrong.. I sorta owned the condo with my mom. My name was on title and I paid a majority of the mortgage but we weren't on the loan and didn't benefit in taxes because of it. This time we get all the benefits and well.. it's OURS.. with a freaking yard! So yes, budget may be tighter than I'd like.. but wow.. a house with a yard for my doggies.. a basement for the problem children (j/k) and an extra room for guest (technically two because there IS a room in the basement).... I love it here in Fallbrook.. It's away from the major cities but close enough to go to a busy city if we choose... The neighbors are amazing! My neighbor has brought us oranges, and the other little lady next door is adorable! She's always in her yard and waves and smiles.. My husband speaks to her mostly since her English as about as bad as my Spanish... We try! lol..

Anyway.. things have been amazing.. minus the whole body going in to bumpy mode again.. Which IS the next thing I'm taking care of. Started the gym again today. Joined a walking group here that meets a few times a week. I'll meet them on Saturday. Funny, I never thought I'd be a group searching type of person.. Fallbrook inspires me.. LOL

I have TREES.. like fruit trees.. oranges, lemons, apricots.. I have an avocado tree.. my husband has made the best guacamole from our avocados..

Did I mention I've become domesticated too? when the husband and cousin come home I have dinner waiting for them. It's kind of scary considering I really don't know how to cook.. But i'm trying!! at least until I get a real job... studying to do appraisals but that'll take some time since I get distracted really easily..it's sad how I'd rather sweep and mop the whole house instead of read a chapter in my school books.. Oh well..
