(no subject)
Given that I can't remember the last time I posted I'm assuming it's been a fair while.
Have been doing a lot, and yet not. Working normal hours, and yet it seems to take up a ridiculous amount of my time. Going to uni one night a week, doing some readings and the odd assessment, which isn't taking up that much of my time, and yet participating in the whole. And I joined a football team (soccer, for those of you who aren't intelligent enough to realise that football is played with a round ball and actually involves using your feet), which takes two hours on tuesday nights for training, plus games on sundays. And I've been also trying to get as much sleep as possible and spend as much time with my boy as possible.
It adds up.
Am home this weekend, at my mum's place, for easter. The whole family (except Noah, who's in Alice obviously) is up, so it's a full house - Mum and Geoff, 6 Kids including myself, 1 dog, 1 kangaroo, 3 ducks, a bunch of chickens, and a Peregrine Falcon that they found today which we suspect has been hit by a car. We;ve considered selling JOsh, as the smallest and easiest to transport, but I can't think of anyone who'd buy him.
It's lovely weather and just so beautiful out here, even if the sleep is a bit lacking. perfect blue skies and all that.
Got up at 5am friday to leave sydney at 6am.. which was horrible, but we beat the good friday traffic, thank god. I went and stayed at Josh's parents place with him on friday night (not the Josh I'm trying to sell, obviously), which was odd.
Anyhoo.. am going home tomorrow, back to the old city...
