Still Here
The great thing is work has been busy and it was a good year for us. Things are slowing down esp. with the hoildays right now and I am really looking forward to christmas - strangely enough. We just bought a case of wine as gifts ( from a really great winery in napa that was really pretty) and it means all of our gift giving arrived by mail and is now sitting in a case under the kitchen table. So done and done.
P got his grades from his first semester of his MBA and did very well, which i am not surprised but it is good to know that all of his hard work is paying off. I really hope I can start my MBA next fall but we will have to see about that.
My folks are coming today to help me re-plaster part of the wall and re-cut some of the moulding for the floor. The tile work we did last time looks really good so it should all come together very nice when its all done. It's only a few parts that need re-plastering so it won't make to much of a mess since the plaster/paint touch ups are only in two spots. I can't wait to redo the bathrooms next year but that is still yet to be seen.
For me things are pretty much the same, crafting like crazy - taking trips when I can ( will be in Vancouver in January) Looking forward to New Years as well since for the first time in a few years I have plans. Well now the dogs are giving me the eye time for a walk.
