First Day. . .WHOOO!
I love the first day of school.
And I only had to go to my last period today and I got an hour lunch. haha Pretty much made my entire day.
I got to mentor all day. So I hung out with all the freshman.
We had all of them fill out contact sheets. So we can get a hold of them and leave things in their classrooms for them and all that and one of the guys looked at me and was like
"I have to give you guys my phone number?"
"Yeah, we are going to call you about getting together and social things. But Dane will probably be the one to call you because he is your mentor."
"So wait, why can't you call me?"
::muffled laugh:: "Well I could if you wanted me to."
"Why dont I just give you my number."
HAHAHA goodness.
I saw it going a little differently but it was fun.
We had nothing to do for a good hour and a half so we all sat in the gym and danced. haha kind of. And we got into the two lines were a guy and girl go down the middle and do whatever it is they do. haha. Have to say Jake and Paul won my vote. Those kids make me laugh.
And coffee and blackberry lemondae throughout my day. Pretty much made everything worthwhile. :)
And seeing everyone I hadnt gotten to see all summer. And even those people I did get to hang out with.
I like school. :)
hah.
And then I got to go to Stephanies and hold Thatcher. That pretty much topped off my day when he fell asleep on my chest. I love babies.
And then watching Laguna Beach with Amber and Shannon. haha Im so excited for the next one. And Im so stoked for the OC on thursday!!! But I cant watch it till friday. laaaame. haha. its ok though.
