Amber: Mrs. Madden if you're nasty!

Fewf. Just took a much needed shower. Now, I'm ready to type. I've actually got some new developments...
Alright so, yesterday my mom and I went out for the day together and had lunch at this nice place called SOYA. Over some vegetable tempura and spring rolls we talked about my move to come. So to make a long story short...I've decided, and become ok with the fact that I will stay here till the end of March. My mom will take the month of April off and she and I will go back to VA, get me settled in, and maybe take one last trip across the states before she comes back to the DR. Now, April seems fucking far away I know! But I agreed to work with the newsletter for the rest of my time here, allowing me to make some money and form a small nest egg for my expenses to come. It will also occupy some of my time so I am not sitting around like I have been. I also may or may not take spanish - I haven't decided whether or not I will do this for sure.
My only requirement was to be back in VA for Warped (haha Rox).

Another reason why I'm somewhat ok with this whole thing is that this time here will allow my new kitten to get old enough to get his/her rabies shot to fly to the states! Yep, for my birthday (although it's not until feb. 22) my mom is letting me get another kitten! Tomorrow, if everything works out, we're meeting with a guy who has siamese kittens and I may come home with one :) call me crazy, but I'm excited. I'll take lots of pictures :P
"What about Blue back home?" you may ask? Well I'll still take Blue to my new place, but I'm also going to ask my friend who's taking care of her if he wants to keep her. I mean, she's probably been good company and whether or not he wants to admit it - he loves her :) If he wants to keep her, I won't try and pry her from his arms.

Today we took a day trip to Altos de Chavon. It was nice, nothing special. We had a nice lunch, did some shopping and came back. The only thing I bought was this old school Lucky Strike pin. It's hot. My mom told me that there's a "family story" behind Lucky Strike (another reason why I got it).

Apparently my Grandfather smoked Lucky Strikes and they had a contest where you could win something like 100,000 dollars if you wrote in and said what your favorite thing about their cigarettes was. He didn't write in but he if he would have, he said that he would write about the cellophane wrapping which kept them extra fresh. When the winner was announced, no one wrote about the cellophane, but the company expressed their suprise when no one had written about the wrapping :P

Ok I think that's it.
