oh my goodness!!
Wow, what a day! So, my first post said that I got the job at Pottery Barn for Kids..Well let me update you since then! After that call, I got a call from Napa Hall which is a building for Continuing Education at Sac State. I had applied for a student position, and now have an interview on Wednesday. After that call, I got a call from a Law Firm that my little friend/my other half Isabel works at. The job won't start till December, but it makes good money. So, I have an interview NEXT Wednesday for there. Then, later on tonight, at around 8, I get yet ANOTHER call! It was Kim from Pottery Barn. She told me that she had not gotten a chance to call my references yet, but will and I should hear from her before Wednesday night. Interesting that she called me to tell me this because I had already gotten a call earlier in the day saying that all my references checked out, and I have orientation on Friday! So, I told her this, and we were both REALLY confused..So, I get off the phone with her, go through my incoming call log, and call the number that had called me earlier today. The lady picks up and says,"Thank you for calling Bath and Body Works, this is Genie.." WOW! What an idiot I am!! I accepted a job offer at Bath and Body Works and thought I was accepting it at Pottery Barn! Can you imagine if I went to orientation on Friday AT POTTERY BARN!??!? I'm a loser let me tell you! LOL! So, I really don't know what I want to do. Bath and Body Works starts their employees at not that many hours, and by your performance, you can increase your hours. So, I'm thinking I may need another job. I know that it may be stressful to have 2, but I REALLY wanted the job at Bath and Body Works. You get a discount at Express, Victoria's Secret, and the Limited! So, I'm planning on going to my other 2 interviews and seeing what happens. Funny how it took me a month and a week to FINALLY get called. And I was called by 4 people in one day!! Goodness! Well..goodnight!
