SORT OF KIND OF UPDATE

APs are half over for me.  Calc was on Wednesday and it went alright.  Parts were easier than I thought they would be, but others were harder.  My friend Ryan and I didn't go to school on Tuesday and spent all day studying at Panama.

I also picked all my classes for McGill, assuming I get a 4 or 5 on the AP Calc test.

Fall semester:
PHYS 101 - Introductory Physics: Mechanics
CHEM 212 - Introductory Organic Chemistry 1
BIOL 200 - Molecular Biology
LING 201 - Introductory Linguistics

Winter Semester:
PHYS 102 - Introductory Physics: Electromagnetism
CHEM 222 - Introductory Organic Chemistry 2
COMP 202 - Introduction to Computing
LING 320 - Sociolinguistics

The Physics series is the easiest one I can take (I don't think Calculus is even involved), and the computing class is the only one off of a short list of science electives required for all freshmen in the Faculty of Sciences that looked even remotely interesting or useful.  O Chem and Molecular Bio are sophomore classes for my major that I can get a jump on because of all my AP credit.  I'm taking 28 units the first year, which means I'll likely be at McGill for 3.5 years.  If I took one more class this year, I could cut it down to 3, but I'd rather be there for 4 if I can be.

In honor of me taking linguistics classes next year, here's a slightly pertinent meme.
